On this adventure, we headed out to the new bar/restaurant at the Sheraton called the Daily Grill.  We were met with new members of our team.  The bar was pretty empty when we arrive (we did arrive prior to 5), but quickly filled.  No Happy Hour prices for the drinks, just food. Music: 4 reviews said it was perfect, and two had different opinions, one said various Beatles covers with Breathy singers, and the other just said it was OK.

Service: This was split three ways, 2 said it was perfect, 2 said it was OK, and 2 said it was Good to OK.

Clientele: All agreed that the clientele was Business with 4 also adding Old and Boring.

Other Comments: BeDazzled said Red Wine served in a small Decanter and poured. Burgers were good, but could have more sauce, and finally mmmm-Michael Bublé.  Pinkerbell said No drink discounts, and the hummus was good, but could have had more cucumbers. She also said the service was very friendly, and the cooks came out and delivered the food.  Swimming Lilly said Cute he came to serve the food! Food looks great, but not enough yummie sauce on the SideKicks. She also liked the big jumbo Calamari Rings. Mystery Bulge said Cheap Comfort Food, good enough.  Service was sweet and charming, but become progressively less attentive.  Orangejello said Very good food all around.  Drink are a bit pricey.  She also said there is not drink discount during Happy Hour. She mentioned that we were the youngest table there and the only all female table.  Plus, there was not many booths, and all high bar chairs and tables.

All said it was there first time at the Daily Grill, and two said they would come back.

W Hotel – W Bar March 7, 2008

The happy started out great, we got to the bar early and found a table.  After looking at the menu we found that they only had a limited number of drinks at happy hour prices and the food was all regular price. Overall score 4 out of 5

Atmosphere: All agreed that the atmosphere was Hip, GemGirl and Suga Lips also said Dark.

Music: All agreed it was perfect

Service: The service started out OK, but decreased as time went by.  Buy the time we had left, the score was past the lowest level, and here is why:  It took 30 minutes to pay the bill, but when we did get the bill back it was wrong.  They charged one card the entire amount and the second card for half the amount, but the time we got it all cleared up, it took a total of 45 minutes to pay the bill.  NOT ACCEPTABLE!

Clientele: All agreed it was Business, Suga Lips also said Young & Hip.

Other comments: Orangejello-Accidentally gave truffle fries, which sucked for my dance partner later. No food on special. Clientele gets younger as night goes on. Website was wrong (said it had food specials). GemGirl – Service horrible. No discount for food even though website said they had specials.
